If you all are so convinced that I'm the Spectre agent, I might as well vote for a known good guy.

Yeah, stupid me has decided to play the absolute worst wolf ever after doing so well at my last game. I swear, how the hell did you guys make it past basic?
withdraw Unagi
I'll take time this evening and read over the thread and see if I can come up with something better. But I'm seriously considering going AWOL for a two-week leave in Straßburg.

I've played plenty of poor games as a bad guy, especially following my good games as a bad guy. So that's no argument really. As for being "convinced", I'm not, but that post didn't help. If you are innocent, you can still fight with us. We might pull the votes off you, don't give up like theohall did.Isgrimnur wrote:If you all are so convinced that I'm the Spectre agent, I might as well vote for a known good guy.

But really, you are the prime radar pinger right now. That's why you're being voted for.
But you've seen who's in heaven

Re: WW- Chapter 3 - The Davos Initiative
Now that I've killed over an hour re-reading the thread, here are my thoughts:
1. Isgrimnur - I know I'm not evil. I haven't been devoting as much attention to the game as I should, and once the speculations and accusations started coming, I reacted badly. The unit deserves better from me, and for that I apologize. I hope it doesn't have too negative of an impact on my annual review.
3. stessier - Called for shooting Grund early, confident that he was evil when there was no information in evidence. Calls for shooting Remus during the arguments over our argument over the proper actions of Qantaga's information, agitated for Grund's death yet again and was in on the vote.
4. Chaosraven - lying very low overall, nothing really jumps out to me.
6. Lassr - Defends the shot (which I now believe to be the correct action). No real feelings of evil from him.
8. Lagom Lite - Early vote from Remus, voted for Remus, bantered with him, didn't appear in Remus's threat list despite the vote. Voted for Remus before the shot, but pulled it.
9. Unagi - Nice shot, mate.
10. Semaj - Lays low for Day 1 in a calculated strategy, has used his analytical play to cover his evil before, seems to be attempting to downplay it.
11. msteelers - Tried to pin me as evil early, had the kill vote on theohall, advocate for Remus lynch, stands behind that position, off voting against Lassr on the Grund vote
On the Remus lynch vote, you had me, LL, and msteelers at the time of the shot. I'm convinced there's a SPECTRE agent there, and I know it's not me. If there hadn't been at least one wolf on it, then all three spies could have voted when there were two agent votes there.
Given the early banter between Remus and LL, I was strongly suspecting a partnership there, but have pulled away from that with later LL posts.
My top three threats right now would be stessier being a public agitator, Chaosraven lying low, and msteelers. Obviously, one of these is innocent. But for right now:
msteelers
Unagi, thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak my piece without pushing me closer to a lynch. I apologize for snapping.
Newcastle, the previous vote count was wrong, as I had no outstanding vote after my nonsense with the Unagi vote.

Thank you although I wish you had done this earlier if you are indeed a good guy. Now I'm trying to decide if you are being honest in the search or now attempting to save your life because your partner wants to win more than you.

just in case you get 2 quick votes, although I think at least one wolf has already voted
withdraw Isgrimnur
Give us a 3 vote cushion to think through this. I can't get rid of that nagging feeling that a wolf or wolves is sitting back and letting us tear at each others throats. Got to be one obvious and one lurking in the shadows.

I've made peace with whatever comes. If the rest of the crew wants to lynch me, then that's fine. I didn't post that with the idea that it was going to save my hide. I've been very up front about my agent role, no hints that I'm anything that I'm not.Lassr wrote:Thank you although I wish you had done this earlier if you are indeed a good guy. Re: WW- Chapter 3 - The Davos Initiative
I'm going to go back and look at the major events that happened in the game and see if any patterns emerge. Unfortunately, I wont be able to do this until later, as I have to go actually do some work right now. Hopefully my meetings will be productive today and I wont be able to post my findings until later tonight.

Re: WW- Chapter 3 - The Davos Initiative
So Lagom got to N-2 with Remus on him. That's not quite as good as N-1 for analysis purposes, but it's the best we got. Remus was the first on him and also the first off. Was he just looking for an excuse to jump? Lassr & msteelers were the other two unknowns on Lagom before the switch to theo.
Theo went relatively quickly. Semaj voted early and never moved it. The other unknowns on the vote were Chaos, Lassr, & msteelers.
Remus vote - Isgrimnur, msteelers, Lagom, & Semaj all thought the vote was better than the shot.
Against Grund - stessier, Isgrimnur, Lagom, Lassr, and Chaos are the unknowns.
I think there were at least 2 wolves on Theo (Remus + unknown). {Semaj, Chaos, Lassr, msteelers}
I think there was at least 1 wolf on Grund. {stessier, Isgrimnur, Lagom, Lassr, Chaos}
There are 8 people left with 2 wolves, so we lose on our third miss. I say we start with Lassr & Chaos (to test people on theo vote) and then see where we stand.
Start with Lassr

- Grund thought Semaj was good Semaj this time. I can go with that for now.
- Knowing Remus was Jaws makes the Lagom vote seem as if Lagom is innocent. This is painful because the smooth tongued Devil looks guilty with all his vote bouncing.
- I still can't see Remus letting msteelers vote against him and make those arguments.

So interesting that you list killing Lassr & Chaos then I guess go to Isgrimnur on day 3 if this doesn't work out...oh wait there is no day 3.

I've never served with stessier before this op, and I'm not sure he's the best squaddie, either. He's erratic and jumpy, not someone I want watching my back.

If Lassr is a wolf, each and every one of us should aspire to play these games as a wolf like he has.
He's absolutely
a) playing
b) making me feel he's good
c) totally making me feel he must be evil, since I agree with just about all of his post this game.
I'm happy to give a win to the wolves if it's because one of them actually played as much and as well as Lassr.

plus it was more than just the 2 day mistake. It was more like listing your partner Isgrimnur but yet not really throwing him out there. He & I have the votes this round, you then chose me from your evidence like you hoped to get a train going on me and sticking Isgrimnur on the back burner after Chaos. That's what it felt like.stessier wrote:Lassr wrote:8 now.

Re: WW- Chapter 3 - The Davos Initiative
It's true, I chose you because people are already voting for you. I'm interested to see what happens.Lassr wrote:plus it was more than just the 2 day mistake. It was more like listing your partner Isgrimnur but yet not really throwing him out there. He & I have the votes this round, you then chose me from your evidence like you hoped to get a train going on me and sticking Isgrimnur on the back burner after Chaos. That's what it felt like.
Chaos seems more like a busy guy who is posting when he gets the chance. The only thing (besides where he has voted) that kind of sent off a signal was that he told someone to keep Q on the "almost trusted" list. I know he is paranoid, but after Remus died Evil and the way Q was posting at that point in the game... While technically Chaos was right, it looked like he was trying to give everyone else a reason to stay paranoid.
Isgrimnur - I got nothing. The only thing that comes to mind is his belief that if you stick you head up in these games, you get it chopped off. For some reason, that still bothers him and so he contributes the bare minimum. I could see him as being Evil - but only for that reason. Everything else seems like normal lost Villager.

Re: WW- Chapter 3 - The Davos Initiative
About every other game, I try my hand at being Grund Jr. All that has ever done for me is attract votes. So I attempt to walk a fine line between contributing and silence just to keep from being offed by my own team. And lately, I've taken it too far to the point of becoming surly when people actually want my participation.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Re: WW- Chapter 3 - The Davos Initiative
When I play these games I play to have fun and be active, if I get voted off then so be it. To me the fun is in the interaction with everyone, win or lose. If I'm ever quiet then I'm busy doing something else.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Yeah, and Evil Chaos hates to even mention his metas...stessier wrote:Chaos seems more like a busy guy who is posting when he gets the chance.
While Good Chaos has no problem protesting our complaints regarding his participation when work starts to eat all of his time.

I just... I dunno. Whatever, man. I'll just go finish the "Canthan Protector" title in Guild Wars while y'all make up your minds. Mmkay? I'll be fine voting for Chaosraven. If Lassr is a bad guy I agree with whomever said it that he deserves a win. KILL THE WEAK! I mean, silent ones.
Small observation: stessier has gone "brain unload" recently. Once he did this as a bad guy. I don't know if he tends to do it as a good guy, might be a tell, or maybe he's genuinely trying to contribute.
But you've seen who's in heaven

And of course, I wrote this before I saw Unagi's stessier vote. Not that any of you would believe me.Lagom Lite wrote:
