I'm a big Johnny Cash fan. Love most of his music. It was so cool the episode that Space Above and Beyond featured Ring of Fire on it. That ep stands out more than any of them too.

But I'm always up to hearing someone else do their own take on stuff. Most times I hate it but theres a few out there I really love. So here are two different takes on Ring of Fire. Hate or love.

Who knew that Frank Zappaa also put his particular spin on it? I didn't until I went looking for the first cover I ever heard -- before I knew that Johnny Cash wrote it. I'd swear it was by Manfred Mann's Earth Band, but I'm hanged if I can find any trace of that now.

Just updating.....You guys remember this fella right? Marc Martel ..... well he got it! Winners announced at Queen Extravaganza . WTG Marc!!!!!!!

The players were randomly tossed into bands and had play together to flesh out who would go on. Band C had Marc Martel in it and you can see some real playing here to get a feel for how he will do.
