Also, I broke my site good before I went to bed last night and can't fix it from home, but I can troubleshoot the javascript in the office. Hopefully by the time you are back, my site is working. I could actually put dice on the site with logging... but that's a future feature.
You, on the other hand, did roll a 2.

No rush from me on the site. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

For what it's worth I can see the new images at work. Though as I said the image blocking is inconsistent, so it could just be not blocking images today. In any event, don't worry too much about me, as I can always find some sort of workaround if needed.

Also, I'm still going to be in third gear.

As of next week, I'll be working from home and image blocking won't be an issue for me, so hopefully my new hosting solution will work for you long-term. I can manage this week easily enough with the restrictions.

Can someone text-post the turn order for me? I know that I have the first three covered, but can't recall if there were any shifts in the rest of the order?

My movement roll is a 3.

While I'm making wild assumptions, I assume that bb2112 is going to be in spot 1 of the turn in the inside lane, coop will be in spot 1 of the turn on the outside lane, leaving me take the middle lane, spot 1.

This will slide me into 2nd, and, of course, trigger 4 more collision rolls. :D

Correct on my position.

Movement order is Y2, Y1, R1, W1, W2, R2, B1, B2

Move me forward 3 spaces on the inside track. Now this would count as my first end movement in the turn, right? And I have to end one more movement in this turn without taking damage to the car?

Cars exist to take damage. God created brakes and tires precisely so you could chew through them.

Believe it or not, I really don't have a problem with that. I would just like my car to make it through the first turn before I manage to blow it to smithereens. And if Isgrimnur would get off my ass, that would help. :P

Ahem. 2nd gear. How in the world did you start out in Pole Position? Now excuse me while I wait to roll a movement of 4 in 3rd gear to complement my movement of 1 and 2.

OK, I want to state for the record that all of you guys still in second gear suck. I'm in a damned if I do, damned if I don't situation here.

Alright, let's keep it in second. Race is early.

I'm thinking 4 spaces straight ahead will be safe.

I think I'm up next, at gear 3.

Might I humbly suggest that people include their car in their movement post? Like, "B1 moves ahead 4 spaces" or "Y1 moves ahead three and slams into the wall." Would make it easier to track.

B1 will move forward-and-to-the-left, move forward 6 spaces, then move forward-and-to-the-right. So, a few collision roles. :)

Since I'll be ending one short of the turn, I figure it makes more sense to go to the outside lane, to lessen the risk of severe tire damage from the turn. Let me know if that's dumb, though.

I load the dice matrix with 5 black dice rolls for each turn. I'm hoping that's enough long-term as, theoretically, we could box someone in on six sides. And that's before any other damage-type rolls are made. :)

As for the turn, you are in position that, if you can manage it without interference, you can mark out the long path of 11, which gives you plenty of room in a 2nd/3rd (or vice versa) combination, which maxes out at 12.

I thought I read that everyone involved a possible collision roll rolled for all possible collisions? Given that we are going to be collision happy for the foreseeable future I should probably understand how collision rolls work.

If I understand correctly (and I probably don't) there will be five collision rolls up front that will affect all five of you and three collision rolls in back that will affect all three of us in back.

And knowing my dice luck, there will be a collision in back.
