Further proof that westerners don't corner the market on finding stupid things to get offended about.
Like anybody would blink twice at a Toyota commercial that showed a bunch of ninjas humiliating a US basketball team or something.
I remember listening to some radio talk show a while back where the guy was complaining about how what you say is only allowed based on the cirucumstances of whether the insult is aimed at a minority or majority group. He used the movie title "White Men Can't Jump" as an example. Imagine the uproar, he proposed, if a movie had been titled "Black Men Can't Read." This is the same kind of pointless BS. People around the world need to stop being so damn sensitive, so it actually means something when somebody is truly offensive.
