Yeah, this is a no brainer... despite what they did to me with ridge racer unbounded.

$3.74 is about $3.75 too much IMO. Any racing game I quit after less than an hour is a tragedy.

Really that's the name they came up with? Holy crap... Still crashing stuff is always fun. I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Wreckfest

It really is amazingly good fun, especially when doing multiplayer with friends. The demolition derby races are ok, but the Finnish style races where you can knock your opponents into a tree or the figure 8 style tracks where you can t-bone the leader into the wall are fantastic. I played this with a half dozen friends for a few hours and it was the most fun I've had multiplayer in awhile.

Wreckfest is wrecktacular! I have been playing for the last 2 years on and off while it was in EA. It was fun but limited then but now, it's totally bananas. :banana-dance: :auto-crash: :banana-dreads:

Good single player campaign mode with gradual unlocks etc. Tons of customization and cars (+Lawnmowers!). Multiplayer is fantastic as well. It is one of my favorite stress relief games and always illicit's a shit ass grin and multiple chuckles while I play. Nothing chases the blues away like ramming some dude named H3LL R8ZOR into and over the wall at full speed while not even trying to steer into the turn :).

I'll just throw a counter opinion out there. I tired of it fairly quickly. I completed the first two tiers and lost interest. It got repetitive and tiresome to me.

Yeah, the single player is fun for me in small doses. The multiplayer, especially with friends, is a whole other level.

So this out on consoles now with whole extra year of additional development and content additions. More tracks, cars, etc and fleshed out career mode. Plus couch racing! It's been updated on PC as well but I doouble dipped and got it on Xbox as well. Game is still a laugh riot and a great game for people who don't play games often.

I finally went back to it 4 years later and finished the career. It's still pretty repetitive, but I enjoyed myself. Maybe the Forza Horizon 5 Hall of Fame grind made me less sensitive to repetitive racing. :P

Well that's just odd. Your image in the OP now seems to reference the war in Ukraine?
