She's a comedy gem. I can't think of any show she hasn't made better with her presence. I love that she keeps trying to seduce Guillermo in the most ridiculous ways.

Spoiler:
I saw an article somewhere saying he hadn't been with the cast at the New York Comic Con recently. And I saw a article from Sept with him talking about a disturbing twist with his character that would shake things up. And that he was "sure the writers would really kill it". Feels like that insider joke like Paul Bettany joking about how he got to work with an actor he had never worked with before - himself.

I trust the writers but I will be sad if true.

Finally got around to finishing this season last night. WTF indeed.

It had its moments, but that was definitely the weakest of the seasons so far. Or maybe the formula is just wearing thin for me.

Season 3 started off well enough, but it was definitely going more for bizarre than outright funny much of the time. At least in my opinion. It did have its moments though. Mostly thanks to Nando. That actor deserves an Emmy for this season alone.

Anyone else catch Matt Berry playing the intro to Toast of London on the piano at one point in the season finale?

So I guess Matt Berry REALLY enjoys working with the other cast members of WWDitS. You can tell because he’s put almost all of them in Toast of Tinseltown (the follow up to the insanely entertaining Toast of London). My favorite so far is Natasia Demetriou (Nadja) as a pop star/actress Toast gets stuck costarring with in a show. Her entrance sums up her character.

NSFW
Spoiler:
Cracks me up every time. Especially with Toast’s bemused expressions.

Toast of Tinseltown is definitely not for everyone...moreso than the previous non Tinseltown seasons, I think. It takes the surreal and absurd comedy levels to 11 from the previous 8 or 9. However, that episode with Natasia Demetriou had me laughing out loud a lot. Also, (I think it's) the first episode has Kayvan Novak (Nandor) in a role you won't be expecting. It's such an insanely talented cast of actors on WWDitS.

I'd love to watch it but I'm not sure how I can. I'm really bummed they took the original series off Netflix, it really was quite funny.

AV club has some info S4, starting 7/12/22:

(I skipped the spoilers)
In season four, we’ll see the vampires and Guillermo visit terrifying locales such as the secret supernatural Night Market, the Jersey Pine Barrens, and a wedding altar.
Coming to NJ!

How do y'all stream FX? I get it through YouTube TV but lately have been questioning whether I want to continue paying them the big bucks.

TVLine
FX is going the undead distance with What We Do in the Shadows, renewing the acclaimed vampire comedy for Seasons 5 and 6.

The two-pronged pickup comes roughly a month ahead of the series’ Season 4 premiere (set for Tuesday, July 12).

After the end of the last season I thought we would get at least a few episodes on the road or in different locations. Kind of disappointed that they immediately went back to the same old set.

I'm speculating that all of the increased budget was funneled into a 2 hour Jackie Daytona musical episode.

Okay, I could watch hours of Matt Berry’s Laszlo psychoanalyzing Kristen Schaal’s The Guide. I was laughing out loud more than once. Especially when naked glistening Guillermo showed up.

Those two are a treasure together. They need more screen time.

Also, am I the only one that finds Schaal sexy in this show?

Ye gods, yes. Get help. :P

I think your horny nerd brain is being confused by the blonde wig and the vampire fangs, which probably usually, but not always = "sexy"

Episode 3 is nearly flawless.

Nadja's nightclub. Young Colin and Laszlo. Vampire rapper Richie Suck (and DJ Dr. Tom). Nandor's penis.

All of this is very well balanced.

The interview with the headmaster of the private school was going on way too long, I initially thought. Then it just pushed through the absurdity barrier and I was laughing out loud as it got progressively more complicated.

I thought it was a weak episode until the end, when we saw the montage of mini Colin Robinson playing sportsball.

One of my favorite parts so far this season:
Spoiler:
Laszlo extolling the virtues of shiplap. It was particularly funny for me because when we built our house last year there was so much design talk about putting shiplap in the half bath. :D
