Out Like a Lamb: End of March Weekend Playlist

Post by Isgrimnur »

Today was cardboard day, playing Downtown with my wargaming buddies. I managed to to destroy my target twice over, and wipe a few SAM sites, but lost a Wild Weasel, a F-105 striker, and an RF-10, maily because of a patchy cloud layer at low level. After all the points were tallied, it was not a good day for the USAF.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

This, my friends, is what happens when the weekend play list is posted on Saturday night.

Initial plan was to continue the push through Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice... but by midday Saturday the fun had died its final death. There is a boss that was both simple and impossible and I just don't have what it takes. I played a little Diablo 3 with my son who is still trying to gear up to finish his seasonal set armor. Then I decided to mess around a bit with The Division 2 to prep for the release of World Tier 5, coming this Friday. I got my gear score up to 449 I think, which is kind of where the cap is now. I say kind of because I somehow got a couple 453 pieces.

I flailed about a lot looking for something else to play, but nothing else is calling out to me. I don't even know what new releases I am waiting for now off the top of my head. I guess I'll know it when I see it.

I just abandoned Of Orcs and Men a few days ago as a fundamentally flawed concept, so what time I had this weekend was spent with Enderal (the Skyrim total conversion), which I'm loving. I just to to the capital city and was able to buy a house. I need it, given that I'm flush with crap that needs stored.

I'm in the throes of the worst allergy season I've had since college. Firing on all cylinders is not in the cards.

I did manage to finish Far Cry 5 over the weekend, which was nice. It's repetitive and the forced capture elements of the story were annoying, but I really liked the world environment they created.

Started Assassin's Creed Origins - what a beautiful game. I can see myself really getting lost in this one.
Maybe next year, maybe no go

Yeah, nature sucks, which is why I play video games.
