Voting Question
I think this goes in R&P even though there shouldn't be that much discussion on it. A friend of mine just asked me about voting in PA, because he can't figure out where he's supposed to vote. This was his message:
"The only site I could find to tell you where you can vote (www.mypollingplace.com) has been down the past two days. I can't find a solid document explaining where exactly I can vote. That is, there is a voting place at the church across from our apt complex, but my vote reg card just lists norristown. Can you vote anywhere within your district? I'm just having trouble figuring out Norristown."
Any help/info anybody can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'd do it myself, but my boss is in "hover" mode today.

Call 866-OUR-VOTE and get an answer as to whom to call regarding your friend's specific precinct. I believe the location rules change from state to state, but my local area, if I vote at the wrong place, my vote gets trashed (they do this, I believe, to ensure no double-voting).

There is likely a place on your state web site. For instance I can got to something like http://sos.publius.org/ is where we are pointed to by michigan.gov. I don't seem to be able to find a pennsylvania.gov site, though?
