That works out to be about $.50 per hour! :D

I actually enjoyed the game a lot but it is very short and offers little replay ability. In its favor it has the best water physics I’ve ever seen in a game.

Daily Deal: Aztaka -66% $9.99 $3.40

Inspired by Aztec legend, this action/rpg side-scroller will casts you into the middle of a war between the Gods and Mankind. As Huitzilo, heir of the Sun God, skilled in both the arts of combat and magic, only you can save your people from the wrath of the Aztec Gods by reuniting the seven phonograms.

I read the definition of Lucid a few times and still couldn't make the logical connection. I thought that was what MM was going for, but when I'm in the wrong mindset, puns and wordplay go right over my head. I get bogged down, as it were.

I like Bejeweled ok, but not enough to buy it for a PC where it competes with so many other better offerings. Would be perfect on iOS opr any mobile platform though.

It's the post-holiday sale letdown. After blitzing all of us with the really good deals, they really can't undercut that with something really awesome in the month that follows. So they roll out the crap nobody wants to allow us to recover some of that disposable income they know we love to give them. Don't worry, I believe they've got a Spring Sale lined up to take advantage of us in just a few months.

At least they stack with any sale in the next three months, but yeah, the coupons are pretty crappy for anyone with backlogs like we have.

Well, yeah, they set the price expectations. But still, here's what I'm looking at:

33% of Dungeon Siege 3. Current Steam price: $49.99. With coupon: $32.99. Steam sale low: $19.99. Current Amazon download price: $19.07

50% of Toki Tori. Current price: $4.99. With coupon: $2.48. Steam sale low: $1.25. Current Android market place (only place I could find it): $0.99.

No one is going to use the coupons, barring a sale.

Counterexample: Oblivion: GOTY - $19.99, $9.99 after coupon. Current Amazon price: $19.67. To the majority of humans who missed the single day in history where the game cost lest than $9.99, that's a great deal. :)

The one gamer who hasn't yet played the 5-year-old classic probably didn't get that coupon.

I'm sure there are some good coupons out there, just like there were probably some good gift pile prizes but the vast majority aren't good. It's no knock on Steam.

I had to check on this because I swear it was below $10 a while ago. According to SGS, it was actually below $9.99 4 times for a total of 7 days; 2010 summer sale, 2011 summer sale, 2011 Thanksgiving sale, 2011 Holiday/Winter sale.

I tried the demo. It's one of those indestructible car / nitro all the way type racers. Reminds me a lot of "Screamer" from way back when.

*Yawn* for me.

OMG, it's the Gordon Gee sale!

Addressing a downtown athletic club Wednesday [Jan 11th, 2012] in Columbus, OSU president Gordon Gee tried to paint a word picture of what it’s like coordinating the school’s many divisions.

“When we had these 18 colleges all kind of floating around, they were kind of like PT Boats, they were shooting each other,” Gee said. “It was kind of like the Polish army or something. I have no idea what it was.”

When that brought nervous laughter, Gee said, “Oh, never mind, who did I embarrass now? … I’ll have to raise money for Poland now.”

I wonder if it's a coincidence that the metascores of the titles on sale are gradually creeping up after the holiday extravaganza sale.
