looking for: programmable thermostat

Post by hitbyambulance »

the one in my apartment was straight outta 1989 and needed to be manually adjusted, which is tedious. it broke recently (LCD display went wonky-looking and the device didn't respond to button presses any longer - i guess it was the original when the place was built in 1995) and i called the property owner, who replaced it with... the exact same model. (he actually had one still in the package.)

anything that can at least be set to automatically adjust at certain times of the day would be nice.

Not sure where you're located, but if you have ComEd, they have this:
https://comedmarketplace.com/honeywell- ... DYPGR.html
I got it and installed it last week. Works great.
$10 shipping.

I've got a 2012 Honeywell TH6220D1028 that I've been wondering what to do with. Worked fine but recently replaced with a Nest, yours for whatever it costs to ship, if you like.

if you can beat the $10 shipping of the previous link, you've got a deal !
