I'd thought maybe The Long Dark, but that's not on Epic either. It's a mystery!

Just a guess at this stage :)

Wouldn't mind being wrong as I already received that game during it's last giveaway.

Side note: I've got way too damn many of these "freebie" games that I've never even booted up. Currently installed with the icons taunting me from my desktop are:

- Moonlighter
- The Messenger
- For the King
- Little Inferno
- Rayman Legends
- Ape Escape
- Surviving Mars
- Ruiner
- Oxenfree
- Slime Rancher
- Rime

They're all "I'll get around to them someday" games...that I have yet to get around to.
Chraolic wrote: Mon Dec 23, 2019 12:42 pm I'm not sure what tomorrow's title is supposed to be. Maybe Steep?
Not on Epic Store, as far as I can tell.

I'm stumped as well.
Of those I have tried :
Ruiner: Good fun, great atmosphere.
For the King: one of my couch coop go tos.
Slime Rancher : my Daughter plays and likes it

My free list also includes all your plus the following all not played :)

Bad North Jotunn Addition
Jotun Vahhalla Edition
Subnautica
Enter The Gungeon
Hyper Light Drifter
Mutant Zero Road
Stories Untold
Super Meat Boy
World Of Goo

Oddly enough all of those were on my Steam Wishlist at some point.

Another weird thing I noticed when comparing what I have bought on the Steam Holiday sale/recent sales and what I have been buying elsewhere is that I buy a ton of frankly shit games on Steam :). Obscure Indies make up most of purchases and the only big studio game I bought recently has been Warhammer 2 on the winter sale. Everything else was on GOG, Epic, Uplay or etc. this year. Per my recent played log the only major studio games I played on Steam in the last few months is Skyrim because it got cold outside.

Anyhow, still got a bit of $ to spend on this Epic Sale after adding World War Z for $5. I technically only have $5 left but I'm struggling to find anything else at that range. Red Dead 2 for $38 is intriguing as is Control at $30 but not ready to pay that much if i don't play them right away and my plate is full. Such a great sale but I think I will tap out due to having bought too much previously on Epic.

If you haven't already consider Mechwarrior 5 at $40 and especially Rebel Galaxy Outlaw for $12. RGO is an absolute steal at that price.

Subnautica has become one of my 'top ten' games of all time. I really, really like that game, and I'm impatient for the sequel due out sometime in 2020.

That was easily the most relaxing, enjoyable 11.5 hours of a game I've ever played..until the ~30 second encounter just off of the wrecked ship that I literally had no idea was coming. Have not played since.

I have 80 hours in Subnautica but I've never finished it. I got in during an early Alpha and kept restarting as they added new stuff. The game really is very enjoyable, especially in Survival mode, but not in Permadeath :(

I have it both in Steam and Epic, and darn now I'm thinking I ought to go back and finish it... :coffee:

Definitely FTL based on that image.

Nostalgia-wise, I think I can probably call FTL one of my favourite games all-time at this point.

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

TABS looks like a fun diversion. I'm not really looking forward to FTL, though. I've seen it free before, and it's been two bucks enough times that most people who want it probably have it. Free is free, so that isn't a complaint, but it's also not exciting.

I really need to try this one again. I got stuck on something very early on (couldn't figure out what the game wanted me to do) and never went back to it.

Bought Control, Mechwarrior 5 and Fallen Order because of very cheap region pricing + $10 extra discount from the coupons.

My boycott of Epic Store officially ended. :)

Yes. US$ 18.99 Standard Edition and US$ 22.99 Deluxe Edition before the US$ 10 coupon.

I don't understand the reason why those 3 games have the much cheaper regional price at Epic Store compare to other games.

MW5 for $19 must have been a mistake, as it's not on sale at $50 as of today.

Pricing is crazy cheap in other countries. I used a VPN to launch epic and got the really low prices, but couldn't check out as my epic account has a US address. That's how they stop people from buying it cheap unless they create a second epic account.

Steam also have cheap region prices for some titles. usually Bethesda, Rockstar, Square Enix and Ubisoft's games are closer to the US price. For Indonesia, most games are using 1 USD = 10000 IDR conversion rate while the actual exchange rate is around 1 USD = 14000 IDR.

I don't know if it is still possible, but with Steam, you used to be able to add ?cc=<2-character country code> to switch store page if you're not logged in. So it is easier to check and compare region pricing without the need of VPN. Steam also allow you to redeem using VPN. So you can redeem game key from other regiom but careful with that since using VPN is against Steam User Agreement.

While it seems to be crazy cheap and not fair, the average income level in Indonesia is a lot lower than US so the cheaper price is still relatively expensive compare to the income.
