Yeah, I'm pretty sure Hentzau also used to play and participate while he hosted the game back in the day. I believe he deliberately held back from answering for the first few posts, so as not to abuse the timing advantage of being the host, and that helps the game otherwise play out equitably. So I'd certainly encourage you to participate and play while hosting. The more the merrier, say I.
