Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Nothing quite like using a Dragon as a heist getaway driver when robbing the most secure vaults in Wizardry to kill a Wizard who came back from the dead while also using a resurrection stone! Heck, ALL the Deathly Hallows are about Death/Death Row and Life after Death...

Perhaps, but the vacation Max takes with his family in the first movie provides for a more unforgettably impactful and evocative road trip theme of the two, IMHO:

Of course Road Warrior also has it’s road trip, where it’s shown that the feral boy / narrator is (now an old man) in the back of the bus loaded with their fuel - on their long road trip to where ever it is they landed, as Max drives off with the tanker filled with sand.

Just why did they fill it with sand? He would have been chased anyway...

The Humungus was no fool. He wouldn’t have chased after a tanker that was clearly, by the way it handled, totally empty.

But a sluggish tank filled to the brim, he had to chase down.

If you were living in a post apocalyptic desert, would you use water or sand in this case?

I image water isn’t as abundant as sand.
Also, I don’t think they needed the sand.
