Thank you so much, JetFred for Jalopy. I've looked at it so many times and not pulled the trigger. I'm really excited.

Thank you so much, Isgrimnur, for Gremlins, Inc.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and all the other gift-giving menaces. :csmile:

I politely wish to opt out of further gift receiving... I have so much I haven't played already. I know it's my fault for having a wish list, but I don't think there's a way to make it private without making your whole profile private.

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

Anyone know how to find out who gifted you something? Thank you to the OO'er who MerryChrismaKwanzakkuhYule'd me Cities:Skylines, but in my gifts section in Steam, it doesn't show up as a gift! And my coffee hadn't kicked in yet, so I didn't see who sent it. Also, Y'all need to get some stuff in your wishlists! Most everybody's is empty.
(EDIT) Ah Ha! E-mail to the rescue. Thank you Blackhawk! BTW, I though we had won the war against Dagon Day, so I was offended by your holiday greeting.

I am going to post his here, mainly because I don't want to have to search through people's wish lists. I was just gifted a copy of Tomb Raider (I assume it is the first of the reboot trilogy because the very original is now called Tomb Raider I) and I already have a copy of it. So if anyone here on the Christmas giving thread wants it, post here. First poster gets it. And you can thank WindWhale for it :)

Neither of us are on the participant list but this seems like the place to thank noxiousdog for SteamWorld Heist. I've already played the tutorial and I'm excited to see where it goes from there. Thanks!

It's JetFred's fault!

You were still on the spreadsheet and that's what I used for selections :)

Actually I left all the old names on there because I did not know who would end up participating and I did not want to lose all that info for each individual. I also said in the OP that I was bolding those that were participating :) So notice was served!

Is everyone's name listed in the first post the same in Steam?

NM I can look at the other page.

EDIT again: formix....I see you have formix889 listed as your steam nick on the spreadsheet but I have you friended as simply formix. Do I have the wrong guy friended? Its an old friended.

It's getting harder than ever to find cheap stuff to include on a Steam wishlist these days. I feel bad that there isn't much on there that isn't under ten bucks (although I found that true about most of the other wishlists I looked at, too.) Steam just isn't discounting as deeply these days, and games aren't dropping in price as quickly.

In the end I decided I'd rather get just one or two (or no) items than have people waste their money on four or five 'filler' items I put on the list just for that purpose, but which I'd likely never play.

Hate I'm not doing the wishlistmas this year. But with this furlough I'm not sure when I'll get my next paycheck. Maybe if i get a stream card for Xmas I'll be able to do a game or two

Ok, that was a surprise, thanks Suitably Ironic Moniker for For the King. I really appreciate it.

As I said I will pay it forward if/when I get a Steam Card. I always get one so hopefully that is not different this year.

Who can see my wishlist? Seem to be having problems. Direct link to my wishlist is not working. See if you can see it through my profile from link at bottom of page.

https://steamcommunity.com/id/lassr/

EDIT: May have figured it out. My Profile was public but game details was set to Friends Only that may be why some can't see it.

Thanks. My game details under profile was set to Friends only, we've been Steam friends for a while, the ones that could not see must not be friends yet. I changed it to Public.
