We Gen-Xers have way more in common with Millennials than with Boomers.

We were the first to feel the pressure when Boomers elected Reagan to starve the Great Society and expunge the government assistance that made Boomers the most secure generation in human history. Everything since has just been more of this.

Boomers reached society's peak and then pulled up the ladder behind them. And they still control the government.

Putting the Easter chicks on a hot plate with a timer to get them to "dance" every hour also made me laugh when I first saw that episode. A true classic, and a comedy great that should be held up alongside All in the Family, Taxi, Soap, Cheers and all the other greats.

Thanks. Although I am aware of the show, I never did watch it.
I'm not completely oblivious to good 70's shows, when I was a kid my mom and I watched All in the Family and Mary Tyler Moore reruns.
