You want to know how I did it? This is how I did it, Anton. I never saved anything for the swim back!

Time to renew that Old Glory policy.
I spent 90% of the money I made on women, booze, and drugs. The other 10% I just pissed away.

It's the first step in the preparation for World War Z. Tiny robots swarming over the living dead. We consume them before they consume us!
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

I am nearly certain I have a family member that's working on these robots. Knowing him, I have no doubt these things do exactly what is feared.

That's all well and good until they turn into Skynet. It's the first step in the preparation for World War Z. Tiny robots swarming over the living dead. We consume them before they consume us!
We need to find some way to cross-breed Bruce Campbell and John Connor!

I like it. Talk about an awesmoe assasiborg. Send it in to eat the enemy without a trace. If they don't concede when their leaders go missing, you turn on the zyborg switch and have it just wander around in its titanium casing demaning brains.

We can get Back Baur to be the mommy just in case there is a terrorist attack at the same time.YellowKing wrote:That's all well and good until they turn into Skynet. It's the first step in the preparation for World War Z. Re: Military develops corpse-eating robots.
I just finished reading "With the Old Breed" by E.B. Sledge.
He fought with the Marines during WW2 in the Pacific. In the book he talks about how in the mud on Okinawa they were stuck for a week or so in position and had to dig foxholes in the mud. In time, because the enemy dead was not buried and the area was covered with them you would come across maggots all through the mud. Marines would slip and fall down the ridge only to have to brush the maggots off themselves at the bottom.

In case anyone was still worried about this, you can put those fears to rest:
No worries! The robots are totally not intended to become autonomous human-eating machines."We completely understand the public’s concern about futuristic robots feeding on the human population, but that is not our mission,” stated Harry Schoell, Cyclone’s CEO.

Wow, we're screwed.
The zombies will eat our brains and the rest of our remains get eaten by the robots.
Will old glory pay up if there's no actual physical evidence left?

I think your next-of-kin can file a claim if there's an eyewitness.Chaosraven wrote:Wow, we're screwed.
