as far as I can tell .. win a battle today and get 4 days premium

it's the "Tailgate Party" mission ... there aren't too many details in the mission text .. just "win the battle"

Lemme get this straight.. ...and random battle if Im in a tier 4 or higher and I come in 7th or better on a winning team I get x2 exp or credits?..I really need the credits.

I just got a T-34 ...makes it my 40th tank or so.

you should have been playing the past weekend .. massive credit giveaway (4 days premium), 2x XP on all battles, RATION stocks (chocolate, cola, etc)

same trash-talking teammates disparaging their fellow human beings though .. I wish they could patch that out

The game is a surfing song..gonna go to Nerf City....

And there seems to be new glitches. I just shot a tank that should have killed it yet the shell went through it with no damage and hit the ground under it...and I died from the return fire.

I just finished grinding the 55k xp to unlock the tier 5 CHAFFEE ... my first game in my new\stock rig was facing tier 10's.. I saw tank labels I'd never seen before

I made a point of only aiming for tier 5/6 in my advancement because I didn't wish to tangle with the egos\mouths that breathe the rarefied air of tier 10

another tank I won't enjoy driving .. perhaps the next patch will adjust MM for this light\scout. I think they are lopping off a battle tier (or two) for scouts tiers 4-7

Update 9.2 arrives with a host of reworked maps. Airfield, Sacred Valley, Cliff, Sand River, El Halluf, Erlenberg, Himmelsdorf (Winter), Hidden Village, and Karelia have all been revisited. You'll want to keep an eye out for these maps as you battle, as strategy and balance were the focus of these changes.

Along with these revised battlefields, 9.2 offers a newly imagined combat territory: Fiery Salient. (modified: Prokorovka) This map is reminiscent of an old favorite and features a raised train track and a sniper's perch. With a little practice, you'll find yourself right at home.

:!: More Vehicles Go HD

As we continue to enhance the lineup of armored vehicles in World of Tanks, update 9.2 brings several more beautifully remodeled vehicles. With the arrival of this update, the Churchill I, IS, StuG III and SU-100 are getting a whole new look. These battlefield favorites looks bolder and badder than ever
HD tanks can be toggled in settings to show only YOUR tank in HD, or none\all ..to negate a performance hit.. I believe ..
:!: Vehicle Changes

FV215B (183)

Similar to every other tank in the game, FV215B (183) was tweaked to mostly utilize ordinary ammunition (AP shells) that tend to inflict the highest average damage among similar shells. But with this, the AT-SPG also has Premium HESH shells that are capable of penetrating the vast majority of tanks even when shooting the front armor.

HESH ammunition became so popular that other types of AP shells were pushed aside. Even tanks with the thickest armor couldn't survive HESH hits. A high degree of penetration also made aiming easier -- no need to aim at certain parts of the enemy vehicle. This led to shooting skills becoming secondary to the FV215B (183). It was decided to reduce the penetration parameter for HESH shells, whereasthe damage remains the same.

Waffenträger

This type of vehicle implies weak armor and light suspension in order to quickly transport heavy armament. This concept influenced the Waffenträger auf E 100, Waffenträger auf Pz. IV and Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger. In fact, their weak armor was effectively compensated by its increased firepower. These tanks are superior in this way compared to similar classes of tanks for other nations.

Waffenträger auf E 100

This tank may be considered one of the most dangerous vehicles in the game, as the Waffenträger auf E 100's firepower is enough to eliminate any opponent in its line of sight. However, it is also very vulnerable, with a large, finely-armored hull. The development team concentrated their efforts on the Waffenträger auf E 100 and decided to remove one shell for a 12,8cm Kanone L/61 cannon cylinder.

Waffenträger auf Pz. IV

The Waffenträger auf Pz. IV is known for its potential of dealing high damage among other AT-SPGs of its tier. This tank has a fully functional turret and moderate mobility. However, the Waffenträger auf Pz. IV became too popular in random battles. In order to stick to the concept for all Waffenträger tanks, it was decided to leave the maneuverability, turret and high penetration, but lower the DPM for all cannons.

Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger

Similar to the Waffenträger auf Pz. IV, the Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger's damage per minute was also decreased for its 12,8cm Kanone 44 L/55.

AMX 50B

With the introduction of the T57 Heavy, this French heavy decreased in popularity. It was decided to bring the AMX 50B back into the spotlight by separating the roles of the two vehicles in battle. AMX 50B will now be effective in shooting from medium and long ranges due to its decreased aiming time. Whereas the T57 Heavy will get its long range effectiveness decreased. These measures will result in two vehicles designed for different combat situations.

FV4202

We have significantly increased the FV4202's damage per minute to improve its effectiveness in battle.

VK 45.02 (P) Ausf. B

The tank's firepower and maneuverability remain unchanged; however, the frontal armor has been significantly increased.

M46 Patton

The gun has been changed to improve accuracy.

T-44

We have increased the damage per minute on the T-44, which will allow the tank to be more effective against other tier VIII vehicles.

Aufklärungspanzer Panther, Indien-Panzer, Leopard Prototype A, Leopard 1

We have introduced some small system improvements to the line in regards to damage per minute and dispersion.

World of Tanks is a game where the victory depends on player skills and mastery, and Wargaming pursues this principle at all costs. One of our first steps was transforming the "free-to-play" concept into a "free-to-win" model, conditioned by the feedback from our players.

Premium vehicles are part of this, and can offer a smoother upgrade path in the playing experience, and our mission is to make any tank purchased for Gold operated and enjoyed outside the bounds of tier or nation limits. Based on this, we're going to issue a special micro-patch update on September 12th.
Currently, Premium vehicles are known for the following:

Unique modules that cannot be researched
Increased Credit income in battle (except for the M60 and VK 72.01 (K)
Instant Elite status, allowing accumulated Experience to be converted to Free Experience
Crew transfers from similar vehicle types to these vehicles without any penalties
Enabling "Accelerate Crew Training" right from the first battle

After the Update

All Premium / gift vehicles will gain new features. These features will also affect vehicles rewarded in special events like Clan Wars campaigns. These features are:

An additional 50% bonus Crew experience. This will boost their training rate and reach new perks and skills faster
An increased battle experience coefficient. The lower the tier of the Premium vehicle, the higher this parameter will be. In deciding on this, we evaluated a number of low-tier Premium vehicles which were in players' Garages but proved to be unpopular in battles. In short - the lower the tier of the Premium vehicle, the higher the battle experience you get!

*The KV-85 does not have any notable differences in terms of armor protection, but has better dynamics.
*Top speed of the KV-85 is lower than that of the KV-1S -- 34 km/h versus 43 km/h.
*The main difference between the tanks is in the mounted guns. The KV-85 has kept its 122mm D2-5Т gun, although the gun's parameters were significantly rebalanced when compared to the gun of the KV-1S. Unlike with the KV-1S, the D2-5Т gun, mounted on the KV-85 is more of an alternative gun with peculiar gameplay, while the 100mm С-34 gun serves as the main gun, and is similar to the D10-T gun, which is well-known to players. This gun has good accuracy and stabilization -- which was not typical of Soviet guns -- as well as one of the highest damage per minute ratios of its tier. back into this heavy again. Bought some gold and premium. Decided to just stop working on all my tank lines and start a new one in the US lights. They just got 3 new tanks and they look fun. Im up to the Chaffee now. I kept my M5 too. Both are pretty fast and tough. The Chaffee itself is way fun. ive sen so many fuss about it but Im loving it. ive totally upgraded it and plan to keep it a while. Once I can move out of it Ill probably sell my Stuart and elite the Chaffee.

The experience earned by Recruits goes to the Recruiter’s experience pool, where it accumulates.
Both the Recruiter and the Recruit receive additional experience. The program provides a range of experience multipliers. The multipliers are applied until the recruit brings 350,000 experience to the Recruiter’s experience pool.

x3 – during the first 24 hours after the time of the Recruiter and Recruit’s first battle in the same Platoon in Random Battle mode.
x2 – during the next 7 days.
x1.5 – until the recruit brings 350,000 experience to the pool.
x1 – from the moment 350,000 experience are added to the pool by the recruit, but after the x3 and x2 multipliers expire. After this requirement is fulfilled, the experience earned by the recruit will keep accumulating in the Recruiter’s experience pool.

THIS is a video from WarThunders tanks. And this is what WoT should look like. WT is just beautiful and the particles really set it off. Smoke and stuff is amazing. Id switch in a second to it but WT has awful controls, bad views, horrible UI, and is souless...hehe harsh yes but it is the way it strikes me. I wish it was accessible to me. Ive tried and tried but I have not had a bit of fun and its so unintuitive I cant stand it. I wish WoT would update its graphics engine and add all the cool particle effects to it. I also would love if they put in the damage camera that WT has when you hit someone.

Not WoT but Warthunder..I just saw a guy take his tank in a video and grapple a stuck tank with a chain and pull him out then detach the chain and go on...how cool is that.

(WarThunder) Im getting more kills in my FlakPanzer than my tanks. And Im half way researched on a Stug. I still die a lot to 1 hit kills and dont seem to return the favor much if at all.

Maybe Im just burnt out but all this game does now is piss me the fuck right off. I cant count the times tonight when it seemed people were cheating. 3 times I had some enemy shoot through solid things to kill me. Ive had it happen with a rock pile, a building and the ground. Either I barely see their turret's hatch sticking up or nothing .Ive watched as a shell will fly right through solid matter to kill me while mine simply hit the object. Then today Im heading full speed for a cross road. My guys are there fighting 2 enemy tanks. I can see them but they should not at all know Im coming. They have no scout near me. So Im booking it at like 35 kph and right as I enter their view one of them blasts me into dust instantly. No f'n way. Just sick of this game and its sister the ships one. The planes I liked in beta but then in release chat stopped working and they never did fix it for the few of us it did that to. Im done.

Lol thanks. I got so excited I was trying to text a friend and misspelled it all..he's like "what?" haha . I had two other tanks get 8 kills..a Maurder II or course and something else. But that has been many years back. People just kept driving at me this go.

Dont forget the Christmas fun is going on right now....you ge tfree Swedish tanks and all kinds of stuff.

You can also buy presents for $1 each and thats where the loot is. I got 2 for $2 and among many items I got 500 gold. Thats worth more than $2 easy.

Elefant tank arrives at museum

Should have it's display up April it says. When they get it there you can see a Tiger 1 also. That Elefant is huge.

Just have to brag. Ive been doing bad at WoT for a while now. its getting to where the fun is rare. But just now I had a once in a year battle win. I was in my Hetzer and we were down 4 vs 9 or so. I was protecting one side at a hill and got hit early. Hetzers have no armor and I ended up with like 2 hit points early. Figured I was done like normal but strangely I kept getting kills and the hits on me never penetrated. At the end I killed 7 and there was only 3 of use left I think. Such fun and an amazing ending. I got so many medals.

Wargaming has issued threats and copyright strikes (or threat of) to at least two (unpaid) community contributors for language and content. Revoked Community Contributor (CC) status for two long-time and popular youtubers who have promoted the company for free, for years. .. because their feelings were hurt, I guess. SirFoch criticized a Premium ($$$) tank as pay to win due to the usual weak points not being weak and therefore encouraging players to pay for premium ammo, as well as paying for the tank

New player rewards pack is out for the holidays. Depending on when you joined you get rewards. Alpha and beta players get the most. There is also a free tank for most and 5 million creds.
