Huh, I didn't know that "censored" bars were an available gear option. ;)

I do wish they'd allow special emotes for taking shots, which would liven them up a bit.

Here's Molander with his brand new outfit with blue and white dye.

Yeah, it's great that you guys are all color coordinated and whatever, but all of my characters look like they walked through a 10-way paintball fight.

Take your screenshot during a cutscene; then you can choose a moment when your character is displaying a modicum of emotion. :-D

That's a good idea. Except for the fact that for whatever the reason, I get no output during cutscenes. I look in my screenshot folder afterwards and even if I tried during cutscenes, there are none in the folder from that. It's weird because I used to be able to do it, but something must have changed.

Oh and yes, unify colour is a subscriber feature...

If you don't mind having to run a separate program, I use FRAPS for all my gaming screenshots.

Unify colour *can* be purchased on the Cartel Market for 210 cartel coins, if you have them. I figured there'd be some for sale on the GTN too, but I just checked and nothing up currently. Can keep an eye out, though.

I log in and Im instantly overwhelmed. I cant remember any controls or shortcut keys. Then I find my mail is filled with replaced items due to some error....come to find they have totally changed the companions and they no longer wear implants or anything stats wise. They simply wear clothes for looks...same with a weapon. They will fight but you dont have to twink them for power or damage or anything. Then I find they are all pantless. Musta been some party. Now Ive got a full inv and full banks and Im trying to match that item to this companion and such while simply junking stuff I spent a long time to get or to buy. Hard work down the drain it seems.

Im not sure I like what I see so far. Im old and old school and I dont care for dumbing down of MMOs over time. I will give it a hearty go though. Will take me days just to remember how to play and set it all back up. Maybe in the end when Ive got two maxed characters and completed stories Ill change my view on the redo.

After all I came back for the stories, companions, and cutscenes and not the pvp or item grind.

I just finished played a toon from level 1 through the end of the currently available story content. I never once touched PvP, never did any group content, and the only gear I ever used were the quest rewards gained through the story. Had a blast.

They've changed quite a lot over the last year or so. It takes a little adjusting to, but overall I like most of the changes. And if you're mainly here for the stories, you definitely won't be disappointed. I might like Shadow of Revan even more than I like the original stories. I just wish it didn't feel so darn short. I wanted to play it forever!

Most people either love most of the changes, and have given up due to the game just not being challenging at all. All heroics and many flashpoints are soloable at this point, so for the most part, grouping is only absolutely necessary now for operations and world bosses. All companions can do either DPS, healing, or tanking, instead of each having a specific role. And their effectiveness is now based entirely on their influence/affection rank. The devs still can't seem to find a balance between making the companions ridiculously powerful or practically useless.

If you decide to stick it out, let us know who you are so we can get you a guild invite! Unless you don't want to. Nobody wants to play with us.

Lol thats terrible hehe. I was high ranked in different guilds for my two last characters. One is still guilded but no one is on and the other is unguilded.

So I really just need 1 companion now? Well I dont see that as bad because I didn't like some of them but needed them. Now I can pick the one I like best and let them do it all. Thats nice actually.

I plan to play next week. Like either Monday or Tuesday I plan to spend all the time it takes to set up both characters and completely clean their banks out. Seems all those years of collecting items are worthless now....well other than the crates I paid real money for. I have a lot left over I never sold on the store which I need to go through..again.

My two characters are on the server The Shadowlands. Both are lvl 43 and 44. Hope thats your's too guys.

Yep, we're on Shadowlands too. The Empire guild is named Quorum of Quarren, and the Republic guild is None Of Your Bithness. But the 'who' function doesn't work right in this game, so er, don't try to find us that way. Lol. For some reason, it shows a bunch of people who are not in the guild. Very odd.

I logged them in a bit ago to look around. All companions are pantless. Its like some large pants off dance off happened while I was away. :)

Also one of my guys had to go back to Quesh...sigh.

Yeah, that particular pantless thing occured after the 4.0 patch. Equipment changed, and I think it may have something to do with it. That's why the game's been resending you your items in the mail. It's to replace what's been changed.

Also, if you spend time on your ship long enough, you may experience explosions coming from your airlock door.

Saw that too. Was all WTF....thought I was being boarded. :) Was a little disappointed. Also my Shadow could not hit ESC to quickly board and launch..kept ending up back outside my airlock and the animation restarting. They really borked the game it seems.

Actually, some people were experiencing other players randomly appearing on their ships, so... maybe you are being boarded.

And yep. Pretty much every time they "fix" one thing in a patch, they seem to break about 10 more things. It'd be sad if it weren't so hilarious.
However, skipping cutscenes in this game is spacebar, not ESC. :-P
