Can anyone make any sort of argument that holding the shot benefits anyone?

Alright. Now can you make a GOOD argument for holding the shot?

There is no good reason as the host can just as easily put into the airlock. Really only people we shouldn't touch is the engineer and the hacker at this point in the game

We need them both in case one of them gets locked down.

I really have no idea why the shot hasn't been used and I have zero arguments on why it shouldn't be used.

The group stared icily at each other, neither willing to move or even speak. The tension was so thick that it could be cut with a knife. Finally, Isgrimnur gets up and growls, "Fine. I'm the marine and I have a gun. Remus!!You've had it coming with your insufferable act. Also quoting the regs. Well, I'm sick of it. I'm going to cook your face off.

"Hold up, Issy. You now we've become friends over the last few seconds. I even willing to co-sign on that awesome swoop bike you were telling me about." said Remus holding up his hands.
"Really? Well, that different. Ok, Lagom Lite. Guess you get the burning end of this gun."

GEEZ!!!!!

Incredible shooting by Holman and Issy. Alien on the first day and then remaining host on the 2nd. Obviously, I need to retool this rulezset some more before Starship R. Scott IV. I think there is a great experience here but I think I need to give the convicts a shiv so they can fight back against the incinerator guns. Or I can share the hackers scans just with the convicts (like passing secret notes) so its not common knowledge...

Things to think about for next time.

That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

Thinking about the rules for future games, should a tie automatically end it?

It seems possible that lucky scans and some deception could still tilt the game either way.

hahaha, that was.... wow.
It took years to actually shoot but good job.

I was obviously an engineer and I unlocked Remus on D1 since I felt bad he was stuck alone :P

edit: just saw Scoop released the roles.

I *think* the ruleset would work better with more people, it was too easy to have a standoff at this point, granted it was all because of the lucky first day shot BUT still, a few more players to avoid one faction being able to take over would makes thing better.

Human Sub-Victory A - Marine Guards and Engineer: When the overall human victory is achieved, Marine Guard, Engineer, and Symbiont are equal to or out number the Computer Hacker and Convicts.
I don't think most of us remembered the "equal to".
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Maybe make it so a Guard victory is still counts as a minor victory for the Convicts, and vice versa. It's still way too tempting to start the factionalism early.

Either that, or make the Alien more dangerous. Maybe allow him to both kill AND implant. The only thing holding together the factions is if they're afraid enough of the monster. Once CR was shot, that was it really.

Wow are they brutal.
"Where are you off to?"
"I don't know," Snufkin replied.

Why did you decide to scan me? I thought I made it PAINFULLY obvious I was on the side of the convicts. I guess I could have been infected, but as I said, I didn't think CR would choose me since I tend to die in games at some point.

I scanned you because I knew you were a convict. Why scan marines if we are just going to throw them all out of the airlock?
What I hadn't considered is if you had gotten locked up by the Symbiot and the engineers knew you weren't one of them and there was no way for us to get you out.
